Today is January 1st, 2023! Thank You, Lord, for giving me life, and the ability to do Your will as best as I can. I pray that I learn something new today that can help me with my remaining time in prison, and in my life. I pray for understanding to accept the things beyond my control, and not to take everything so seriously. I pray for continuing courage and hope, and not to let doubt discourage me from doing anything positive. I aspire to do my best while incarcerated and beyond. I pray for continued strength to keep building bridges and not walls. I pray to see the best in my fatherless youth, at-risk-teens, and the incarcerated men who I mentor and talk to daily. I pray to always give thanks to all family and friends who are there for me during my time of need. I pray to keep the faith that this is just a time-out period in my life, and I have an entire, full life ahead of me. I pray Lord, that You continue to watch over me, as You have all my life, and allow me to keep dealing with hardships in my life as best as I can. I pray that you help me come out of prison a changed and better man, and that You continue to use me to help people change their lives. AMEN!
